I hear about people making 1.2mil before getting banned from a casino, but I only just started going to a local casino and they’ve already made me. I think it’s because I was at the table with some obvious mechanics and I looked like I fit in, but I’m not too concerned with that. What I really want to know is an estimate on how often I have to show up and how much I have to win within what amount of time at Blackjack for a casino to kick me out.

I am trying to get from Ithaca, NY to Turning Stone Casino but I don’t have a car. After looking at all of the options, the only ones seem to be going to Syracuse via bus and then taking an expensive shuttle bus there. Does anybody know any alternatives? My best friend is in my life a lot, whether its seeing movies, going to restaurants, whatever. We spend a ton of time together. I am pretty broke, and I think I might have a gambling problem. A bunch of my friends and I were thinking of hosting a poker tournament with a PS3 for the winner. We were going to charge a buy in and give away a % of the winnings to the winner and top players. Is this legal or not (for California)?

Originally I was thinking it was because people enter other tournaments, like sports or video games, where there is an entrance fee, and the winner takes a % of the pot. This would be no different, but poker is a gambling game.

Anyways, I don’t want to do anything illegal so hopefully someone knows the answer. I was planning on opening it up to the public because most of my friends don’t play poker as far as I know.
