Quantum of Solace was just awfull, this film beats it in every way possible.

It pretty much showed exactly what they needed from a 00 Agent, someone who reacts without emotion. And that escape at the end was insane. I think the guy he was chasing is a professional free runner too. I’d probably given up by the time he started climbing that building.

Its a good point indeed. I believe thats because the movie tries to show Bonds crazy attitude when he started to work as a 00 agent, like he wants to do anything by himself with no help. And I also believe that at the moment he didnt thought about that possibility or if there was no time to think about that. Just take a look about how fast the criminal can run at the building, I man by the time the cops arrived, he already vanished the scene.
Probably one of the most stunning action sequences ever put to film
