I have a sony ericsson walkman phone and want to make the songs play louder as they are not as loud as i think they should be, how do i do this?

Yeah i know how to turn the vol up obvi :S
all i want to know is can it go louder than it does as i heard there is a way.
i mean i want to hear it louder on earphones. i have brought two diff types of ear phones, no difference.
