And the truth is, slots are random in the fact that they are programmed to payout over hundreds of thousands of spins and are governed by a random number generator (RNG) that makes every spin independent of the previous or future spin. Casinos can not manipulate a slot’s payback % at the risk of losing their license. Why would they do that when they already have a 4-20% house edge? Talk about money management!

Does this work the same way for native american casinos? I think their all on a network or something and their class 2 machines. They pay fines just to keep the winning payout low.

Technically, slots are random because your just hoping you play the machine that everyone else has been spending there money on. I win at slots all the time by watching slots that people are losing on.
