My best friend is in my life a lot, whether its seeing movies, going to restaurants, whatever. We spend a ton of time together. I am pretty broke, and I think I might have a gambling problem. My biggest problem is that my friend is obsessed with poker, and since he plays a lot, I end up playing a lot because I can’t resist. I consider myself a pretty good player, but I am super unlucky. When I’m away from home I don’t play at all, maybe once in a blue moon. I was thinking of going to gamblers anonymous, but I know that they’ll tell me to stop hanging out with my friend. What should I do? I feel bad telling my friend we gotta stop hanging out cause his life honestly revolves around poker and I can’t resist.
