12 years ago I was working there.
1 restaurant that was partially closed off for employee dining and breaks.
Holiday Inn owned the Hotel and wouldn’t comp casino guests.
Some of the rooms were moldy.
The 24 hour buffet had a horrible reputation and customers telling me about it were numerous.
I was happy to move on.
I was happy to see it implode.
Anyone else out there that saw the implosion and thought “Good Riddance”

If you are just using them in a presentation and not actually using them in the casino.
I have a presentation that I was planning on using them with, just as an example for marketing. I would just show them and roll them once and then never use them again. Is it really illegal even if it is just a demonstration?

We are planning on staying at the Old Woolstore Hotel, and hitting the casino while in Hobart. But many years ago while visiting the West Point Casino, it required jacket and tie to enter. Does anyone know if they have relaxed the requirement, or do I need to make another shopping trip for more clothes?

I know this sounds like an easy “Yes” answer, but poker is definitely a different kind of gambling than roulette, craps, or playing the lottery. Poker takes skill unlike casino-type games. Should online poker be illegal just like those other online gambling games, or should poker be an exemption since it is a game of skill.
Also, there are professional poker players making millions of dollars. You don’t see professional roulette players or professional lottery players. This is some peoples jobs where they collect all their income from. Taking away online poker could put people out of jobs.
