I was there. I had a backstage pass. They were great they played three songs. And then I got to meet them outside.

That was a fine performance and a good song. Should have had a tad bit of reverb though.
of course they’ve got it. They ain’t that old. Edbass, Whip, Ames and Rockenfield are only in their mid 40s and Tate’s 50 and I’d say Lundgren is around 25.

Saw the show a week ago in NYC, they rocked it as usual. I am digging the new album. I continue to be impressed by Queensryche, been listening to them since ’82 and at this point they are a major part of the aural and barometric fabric of my life.
American Soldier is a ridiculously good album. I cannot stop listening. Very compelling and brilliant. Bravo fellas.
Give a guy a break, you know how hard it is to capture video in a radio station? I had to stand on a pelican case to get a clear shot, doesn’t really allow for a tripod. Still, the critique has been noted and I will do better, I promise.

I feel the American Soldier CD (and recent past CDs) lack dynamics and punch. Some parts seemed buried in the mix and others oddly (to my ears) forward.
